Job description

ANSER is seeking an Expert Test Systems Engineer to lead enterprise-level applications, system, and integration testing efforts across the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agency environments. You will provide technical leadership for test and evaluation strategies supporting complex, mission-critical GEOINT systems operating across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructures. You will oversee DevOps-based testing pipelines, integration validation, and automated test frameworks to ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and mission requirements. You will serve as a senior technical authority guiding testing teams and leading defect resolution and system validation activities.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee Senior-, Mid-, and Junior-level engineers performing test and evaluation across NSG, ASG, and Federal Agency programs. Oversee application, system, and integration testing across complex enterprise environments. Direct testing of applications and APIs within DevOps pipelines using government and industry QA standards. Oversee independent integration testing of software and hardware to validate compliance with system requirements. Plan and execute manual and automated testing using scripting and programming languages. Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis for defects identified during testing activities. Define and enforce test strategies, quality assurance processes, and best practices. Ensure validation of system performance across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. Guide development and execution of automated test frameworks and regression testing strategies. Coordinate testing efforts across integrated System of Systems and Service-Oriented Architecture environments. Advise Government stakeholders on test results, system readiness, and risk areas. Support DevOps pipeline integration for continuous testing and delivery. Ensure traceability between test cases, requirements, and system architecture. Oversee defect tracking, resolution workflows, and release validation processes. Collaborate with engineering and integration teams to ensure mission readiness of GEOINT systems.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field. Equivalent experience may be substituted. Expert-level systems integration experience supporting large-scale System of Systems or Service-Oriented Architecture environments in cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures. 12+ years of experience supporting government or industry programs in systems integration, testing, or engineering roles. Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems. Experience with Agile, DevOps, and traditional development and testing methodologies. Working knowledge of Software Development Frameworks. Previous Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) program/project experience. Experience supporting enterprise test strategy development and execution. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills., * Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM field. Experience with tools such as JMeter, Jenkins, Docker, Postman, Swagger, Nexus, Apigee, GitHub/GitLab. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Bash, SQL, XML, JSON, and Curl. Experience with AWS and C2S environments. Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, tools, and languages. Experience supporting NSG/ASG or NGA program environments. Experience with automated test framework development and performance testing strategies.
