Job description
We are looking for a highly qualified Space Systems Analyst supporting the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) Enterprise, with proven experience in space systems including MILSATCOM, GPS constellation operations, and end-to-end missile warning, missile tracking, and missile defense, as well as Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT). This role requires operational test experience along with a strong mathematical/statistics background. Experience in developing test measures and evaluating missile warning, tracking, and defense systems is preferred. Additional experience in experimental design, statistical power analysis, sample size determination, and use of data science programming languages such as R or Python is highly desirable. The position is based at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO., * Perform analysis of missile warning, missile tracking, missile defense systems, MILSATCOM, GPS, and related space systems and subsystems
- Conduct evaluation of test capabilities and identify required testing needs
- Identify gaps and shortfalls in test capabilities
- Develop test methodologies, frameworks, and supporting tools
- Recommend approaches for operational testing and combined developmental/operational test activities
- Support Space Force Test Delta in planning and execution of OT&E requirements
- Collect and analyze data to assess system readiness, effectiveness, suitability, and performance trends
- Provide findings and recommendations to the test director
- Review and analyze Systems Program Office and contractor documentation related to space systems
- Assess system resilience against natural and man-made threats and quantify performance degradation
- Support preparation of test documentation for formal T&E reports
- Assist in developing briefings, slides, and coordination materials
- Contribute to lessons learned documentation and reporting
- Participate in Integrated Test Teams and cross-functional evaluations
Requirements
- Experience in developmental and operational testing of missile warning, missile tracking, and missile defense systems
- Exposure to MILSATCOM and GPS constellation operations is highly preferred
- Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline required
- Background in operational test and evaluation strongly desired
- Experience in space systems, satellite communications, and missile defense domains
- Working knowledge of engineering/system architecture principles and systems engineering concepts
- Understanding of system construction, operations, limitations, and performance characteristics
- Ability to apply Design of Experiments (DOE) principles in test planning and execution

- Active DoD Top Secret clearance required
- Must be eligible for SCI access
- Must be able to maintain required clearance level throughout employment
