Job description

We provide technology installation, support, and infrastructure services to grocery stores, convenience stores, and retail locations throughout Central Texas., * Troubleshoot and support store technology systems and related equipment

  • Install, configure, maintain, and replace:
    • POS systems- Cash machines- Receipt printers- Scanners- Time clocks- Security camera systems- Network-connected devices
  • Install and mount TVs, menu boards, displays, and related hardware
  • Pull, route, organize, and secure low-voltage cabling
  • Assist with server rack installation, patching, labeling, and equipment deployment
  • Perform basic network diagnostics and connectivity troubleshooting
  • Configure workstations and install operating systems and software
  • Support phone systems and communication equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed
  • Document completed work and service activity
  • Perform onsite service calls and verify successful resolution
  • Assist with remodels, new store buildouts, and technology deployment projects

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Moving?, We are seeking an independent contractor to perform onsite technology deployments, service work, troubleshooting, and infrastructure installation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving problems independently, and working in different environments., * Valid driver's license

  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to obtain and maintain applicable insurance
  • Basic understanding of Windows systems and computer hardware
  • Comfortable using ladders, drills, hand tools, and installation equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned work

Preferred Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support, field service, low-voltage, or related work
  • Experience with:
    • POS systems- Security cameras- Structured cabling- Basic networking- Printers and peripherals- TV/display installation- Server racks and patch panels
  • Technical certifications such as Network+ or equivalent experiencePhysical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move IT and installation equipment
  • Comfortable working on ladders and in active retail environments
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform installation work throughout the day
  • Ability to safely perform cable runs and equipment installations

Work Environment

  • Combination of retail, office, and construction/buildout environments
  • Local travel between store locations required
  • Occasional evening and weekend work, * Do you have a reliable car/truck.
  • Are you willing to drive to Waco, Houston or Bryan occasionally ?
  • Are you willing to purchase business insurance, usually cost is about 120 a month.
  • Are you able to work off hours and weekends if needed?
