SAP ALM Consultant

Role Summary: The SAP ALM Functional Consultant is responsible for delivering the design and deployment of SAP Asset Lifecycle Management capabilities for a single, AGVenabled warehouse. The role will enable SAP-based tracking of AGV assets, spare parts inventory, preventive and corrective maintenance, and service history, replacing current Excel- and paper-based processes. The solution will be deployed in SAP ECC with design compatibility for planned integration into the US S/4HANA program., Delivery & Execution:

• Understand the client's standard ALM template, adapted for AGV-heavy warehouse operations.
• Assist in functional delivery for the assigned warehouse within a compressed deployment window, followed by stabilization.
• Work closely with SAP technical teams, integration resources, and warehouse stakeholders.
• Support functional testing, issue resolution, and readiness for UAT.
• Support basic analytical needs using standard SAP ALM/EAM reporting capabilities.

Training & Post GoLive Support:

• Provide onsite functional support for:

• Enduser training

• Golive and postgolive stabilization

• Translate SAP processes into practical operating procedures for thirdparty users with no SAP background.

Act as one of the functional points of contact during hypercare., Functional Design & Solution Ownership

• Serve as the functional lead for the warehouse, owning SAP ALM / EAM design and delivery.

• Implement the client's standard ALM template, adapted for AGV-heavy warehouse operations.

• Design a streamlined spare parts model for high-volume, identical AGV units, including:

• Spare materials per AGV model

• Safety stock and reorder level management

• Ensure ECC configuration decisions are forwardcompatible with S/4HANA

Asset & Maintenance Enablement

• Configure and deploy Preventive and Corrective Maintenance using SAP Maintenance Orders.

• Enable tracking of:

• AGV and related conveyor assets

• Maintenance history and service records

• Spare parts consumption tied to work orders

Delivery & Execution:

• Lead functional delivery for the assigned warehouse within a compressed deployment window, followed by stabilization.
• Work closely with SAP technical teams, integration resources, and warehouse stakeholders.
• Support functional testing, issue resolution, and readiness for UAT.
• Support basic analytical needs using standard SAP ALM/EAM reporting capabilities.

• Provide onsite functional support for:

• Enduser training

Act as the primary functional point of contact during hypercare.

Relevant Experience* 7+ years of SAP ALM and Domain experience in MRO, * Strong handson experience with SAP ALM / EAM (PM), including:

• Equipment and asset master data
• Maintenance orders
• Preventive maintenance plans
• Spare parts / MRO integration

Experience with warehouse, automation, AGVs, conveyors, or industrial equipment preferred.

Ability to work with different stakeholders, including end users for their training and post go live needs

Willingness to provide onsite support during training and stabilization.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with thirdparty operators., Relevant Experience* 10+ years of SAP ALM and Domain experience in MRO, * Strong handson experience with SAP ALM / EAM (PM), including:

• Preventive maintenance plans
• Spare parts / MRO integration

Experience with warehouse, automation, AGVs, conveyors, or industrial equipment preferred.

Ability to operate as a handson functional lead, not just a design advisor.

Willingness to provide onsite support during training and stabilization.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with thirdparty operators.
