Job description
The Build-To-Test (BTT) Planner is responsible for generating and overseeing work orders to identify inspection boundaries and test procedures. Supporting trades by ensuring that all required system boundaries are inspected prior to testing with acute attention to detail.
Specific responsibilities include:
- In depth knowledge of Planning; including Artemis Data Maintenance, Work Package Development, and Change Maintenance with the systems that support those processes.
- Responsible for inspection and test work packages that include all required Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) has been obtained among HII-NNS, Quonset Point and Groton.
- Maintain a strong interface with the Shipyard Test Organization, Operations, Trades, Ships Management and other Planning departments in support of inspections, tests and OPCON of all HM&E, S&EP and Nuclear systems.
- Participate in the development of new Planning processes and update procedures accordingly.
Requirements
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain & maintain a secret level clearance with the DOD
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience with Inspections & Construction drawings
- 2+ years of experience with Data Management
- 4 year College Degree
- 4+ years of Navy experience
