Job description
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware, software (routers, switches, firewalls, servers) and Network Infrastructure Cabling.
- Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing systems
- Implementing and enforcing security policies; conducting vulnerability assessments
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and support requests
- Documenting network configurations, changes, performance metrics, and incident logs
- Collaborating with stakeholders on infrastructure design, upgrades, capacity planning, and disaster recovery
- Occasionally working off-hours to perform updates, patches, or address emergencies
Requirements
Do you have experience in VoIP administration?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field., · 6+ years of experience installing and maintaining VoIP, Physical Security and Network solutions. MSP/Integrator experience preferred.

Technical Skills
- Network configuration & management: routers, switches, VLANs, WANs/LANs, VPNs
- Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols
- Hardware & Platforms: Expertise with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, load balancers; familiarity with Fortinet environments. Monitoring & troubleshooting: network diagnostics, performance tuning, packet analysis (e.g., Wireshark), firmware/patch management
· Installation of Network Infrastructure Cabling and Hardware
· Troubleshooting of Network Infrastructure Cabling and Hardware
· Server Installation, Management, and Maintenance, * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Effective written/verbal communication, capable of translating technical information to non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and strong documentation practices
- Time management and multitasking, able to handle real-time network issues
- Collaborative disposition for teamwork with IT staff and vendors
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 40 pounds
· Ability to work from heights (ladders and aerial lifts)
· Ability to work in confined spaces
· Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
· Ability to work at a computer for prolonged periods
