The Supply Chain Management Data Lead (Systems Analyst, Principal) will play a pivotal role in PG&E's Propel program, leading the data workstream within the Supply Chain functional team. This role will have accountability to:
- Execute Propel Program master data governance efforts for the Supply Chain functional workstream.
- Provide sign-off around data conversion strategy, data governance plan, data retention and archiving, reporting, data quality assessment, data cleansing approach and plan.
- Identify areas requiring data profiling and cleansing.
- Identify data requirements related to reporting and analytics to be design.
- Identify and engage key stakeholders from various functional areas to support data quality assessment, conversion, reporting & analytics, governance, and archiving process.
This role requires a deep understanding of core SAP SCM modules MM (Material Management) and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management as well as extended Procurement solutions Ariba, Fieldglass, and Icertis. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic objectives and will be responsible for ensuring alignment with Supply Chain and Propels goals of standardizing business processes, enhancing data quality, and enabling technological innovation for the future state STP design.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland on business needs or company requirements., The Supply Chain Management Data Lead (Systems Analyst, Principal), will report directly to the Director, SCM Propel, * Data Governance: Build and enforce standard naming conventions, global metadata rules, and rigid validation logic across the enterprise.
- Quality Auditing: Run routine master data compliance audits to proactively address profile discrepancies or missing fields.
- Lifecycle Migration: Drive technical execution for data cleansing, profiling, and loading during migrations like SAP ECC to S/4HANA.
- Module Integration: Validate functional relationships between foundational materials records and logistics execution modules.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate technical data parameters into operational requirements during functional blueprinting workshops.
- Supports the development of others by coaching on analytical techniques, data gathering techniques, and current system documentation
- Discovers, analyzes, and documents data issues for future conversion and integration efforts
- Provides subject matter expertise on projects to implement and enhance enterprise Supply Chain business applications

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of related or equivalent experience.

SAP Module Depth: Advanced functional knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management), and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).

Master Data Domains: Expertise governing specific asset fields like Material Master, Vendor Data, Source Lists, and Bills of Materials (BOM).

Analytics Integration: Experience linking operational tables to advanced modules like SAP IBP and Ariba with analytical platforms.

Experience with merging Large Language Models (LLMs) and data analytics to develop business insights.

MBA or equivalent graduate degree

Benefits & conditions
PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint <$128,000 - $173,000>. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
