Job description

As a Cloud Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for working on new enhancements, modernization, and maintenance of existing systems and code base. This includes rewriting legacy vendor applications into Fidelity''s cloud infrastructure with AWS and Python. You will be supporting 2 Wealth based applications, specifically Security Master & Pricing., * Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions

  • Work on modernization projects to migrate legacy applications to Fidelity''s cloud infrastructure
  • Support and maintain existing systems and code base
  • Write Java and Python code for various projects
  • Utilize AWS EKS, Terraform, Oracle, DB2, and write SQL queries against Oracle DB
  • Work with Apache Kafka for data streaming and processing
  • Implement Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems using Datadog

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java and Python coding
  • Experience with AWS EKS and Terraform
  • Knowledge of Oracle and ability to write SQL queries against Oracle DB
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka for data streaming
  • Experience using Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Cloud Computing technologies
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka
  • Knowledge of Oracle DB
  • Proficiency in Python coding
  • Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD
