Job description
Provide day-to-day technical software/hardware support for the District's Telecommunication systems; part of a team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of voice, wireless, LAN, and WAN Network infrastructure; drive strategy and delivery of sophisticated Voice and Operations Voice projects; work closely with other technical specialists, cyber security engineer and network engineers, to ensure the delivery of a secure, compliant and stable enterprise UC platform., 2. Maintain and manage the district's online Cisco Collaboration Suite (webex)
- Maintain and manage the district's 911 & emergency notification systems
- Maintain and manage the district's digital faxing solution
- Administers and monitors IP telephony systems for performance.
- Designs and documents procedures for business continuity and/or recovery alternatives in the event of failure; works with vendor representatives to resolve known problems; and integrates and troubleshoots integration of multiple platforms.
- Oversee district telecommunication systems
- Maintain and implement 3rd party integration's with telecommunication systems
- Assist in Active Directory Management
- Assist in Network Monitoring
- Manage Web Filter
- Assist in Wireless network administration
- Oversee Print Management

Requirements
College degree or comparable technical training, certification, or work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Specific knowledge of Cisco's Webex portfolio including, but not limited to, Webex Calling, Attendant Console, WebEx Meeting and Collaboration, Routing, Voice Gateway
Experience with digital faxing and printing solutions
Experience with managing 911 & emergency notification systems
Experience with enterprise-level systems in the administration of users, groups, and permissions
Experience with creating and maintaining databases
Experience with Web Filering Software
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software
Certifications in Cisco VOIP or related technologies are desired
Virtualization experience, desired, Maintain emotional control under stress.
Demonstrate patience and flexibility when working with others. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
