Job description
Dev Technology Group is seeking .NET Developers in the local Chicago and Washington D.C. areas to support our federal government client's mission to develop new tools and technologies, make enhancements, and provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for existing systems. Dev Technology Group works in an Agile environment and seeks team members who have a strong desire to develop technically and foster collaboration. The ideal candidate will have relevant development language and experience, strong collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex work activities in a deadline-driven environment., * Developers shall provide implementation support for new applications/services and/or enhancements to existing applications/services in an Agile environment
- Developers implement applications/services to technical requirements and architecture
- Developers will design specifications and perform testing to ensure the functionality
- Developers will also perform technical requirements, architectural, and design analysis, proactively identify and resolve potential development and implementation issues, and perform feasibility analyses to improve application performance and mitigate risks
Requirements

Must have 3 years of .NET technical field experience combined with a bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree

3 years of experience as a developer with Microsoft development tools, such as:
-
Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, .NET, Asp.NET, MVC, WCF, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, and/or Team Foundation Server
Agile delivery experience
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded
Demonstrates a passion for solving complex software challenges, and enjoys working alongside fellow team members to make that happen
Ability to adapt quickly to shifting project priorities and evolving business requirements in an Agile development environment
Commitment to cross-functional alignment and communication
Ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government officials
Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team
Experience planning and documenting technical specifications for features or system design
Experience designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business processes and application requirements
Ability to write testable, scalable, and efficient code and leading code reviews
