Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Front End Designer in Sunrise, FL., The candidate is looking for a qualified Website Designer with a strong understanding of computer science, creativity, and artistic ability. The Website Designer is responsible for designing the graphics and overall layout of the pages of a website., * Manage time effectively and meet deadlines for both web design and development projects

  • Code in front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Regularly update content on the website and other interactive products as needed
  • Design and create mobile-first digital marketing assets, including landing pages, display ads, and eblasts, that are user-friendly and appeal to the company's target demographic
  • Design mockups and interactive prototypes for review, testing, and approval
  • Suggest improvements in website layout and user experience to accomplish a more user-friendly product
  • Assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and fixing performance issues encountered in the function of the website, such as broken links, files not opening properly, and slow page loading speeds
  • Work to improve the design and UI of interactive products using creative software as needed
  • Constantly stay abreast of new developments in digital marketing
  • Work closely with others in the marketing department to gain insight and direction for improving marketing efforts
  • Other duties requested by management

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required. Web Technologies or Multimedia Certifications are considered in lieu of education
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and creating websites, web ads, and email blasts
  • Must have training and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and various other graphic and Web design software such as Figma, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, WordPress, as well as knowledge of content management systems and front-end coding
  • Must have good verbal and visual communication skills
  • Must have strong listening skills
  • Must be flexible and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and changing requirements
  • Experience with Optimizely CMS and/or HubSpot CRM a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
