  • Implement high availability solutions such as clustering, replication, and failover strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and optimize database schemas, tables, indexes, and stored procedures to enhance system efficiency.
  • Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting using monitoring tools and scripting techniques to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Design and execute ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for data integration tasks.
  • Write and maintain complex PL/SQL scripts and shell scripts (Bash/Unix shell) for automation, backups, and routine maintenance on Linux environments.
  • Conduct regular database backups, recovery testing, security audits, and compliance checks to safeguard data integrity.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support database design efforts and optimize application interactions with data systems.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Epicor ERP?, * Proven experience in database administration across multiple platforms including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or similar systems.

  • Strong knowledge of database design principles, performance tuning techniques, and high availability configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Shell Scripting for automation purposes.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line tools for database management tasks.
  • Practical understanding of ETL processes using SSIS or equivalent tools to facilitate data migration and integration projects.
  • Knowledge of SQL programming language along with experience in optimizing complex queries for speed and efficiency.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues related to databases, performance bottlenecks, or system failures effectively. Join us in shaping the future of data management! Pay: $75.00 per hour
