Drive technical vision and strategy for Python-based integration with Apache ecosystem projects (Spark, Kafka). Contribute actively as a core contributor to Apache open source projects with Python components. Define and oversee the design of highly scalable, resilient data processing systems built in Python. Establish best practices and performance standards for AI/ML and big data applications across teams. Mentor and empower Staff and Senior Engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing. Influence cross-functional engineering decisions, aligning technical initiatives with business objectives. Lead innovation initiatives and guide the evolution of open source frameworks within the Apache ecosystem. What we are looking for: 10+ years of experience in software development with strong Python expertise. Proven track record as a leading contributor to Apache open source projects, with recognized impact in the community. Exceptional expertise in open source development
Requirements
