Objectives and Deliverables

My client is for a Senior Data Engineer with strong Python skills in an Azure Cloud environment. As part of the launch of our new project, my client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and implement their data pipelines. The technical environment is serverless-oriented, with strong requirements in terms of software quality (clean architecture, automated testing).

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines in Python
• Implement batch processing and orchestration using Azure Durable Functions
• Handle large datasets (Parquet format)
• Set up schema validation and data quality checks
• Integrate with external APIs
• Contribute to the modeling and optimization of Azure SQL databases
• Implement observability (traces, metrics, logs)
• Industrialize deployments through CI/CD
• Ensure code quality and security (scans, coverage, automated tests)
