About this role
Join our Platform Engineering team as a Platform Engineer with Python experience. In this role, you'll help create an exceptional developer experience and elevate our developer platform to the next level. We're building the next generation of Platform Engineering solutions, and we need talented developers who can adapt quickly and deliver results. You'll work with cutting-edge technology while embodying our values of leading with purpose, delivering excellence, and caring for our teams and customers. This is a hybrid role based in Enschede, offering the opportunity to work with a globally distributed team.

- Planning and developing new engineer-facing products and features that enhance developer productivity
- Building reliable and scalable software components and services
- Improving applications to maximize speed and scalability
- Collaborating with team members and stakeholders globally
- Taking a flexible, proactive approach to delivering solutions
What will you bring to the team?
- An innovative mindset with commitment to continuous learning and offering fresh perspectives on existing solutions
- Proven experience with Python in production environments, with solid understanding of design patterns (SOLID, DRY)
- Demonstrated experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms, with focus on containerization and Kubernetes
- In-depth knowledge of RESTful API or GraphQL API design and development
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD tooling (Github Actions, GitLab, Argo CD, Azure DevOps) and version control (GIT)
- Hands-on experience monitoring production systems using observability tools (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or AWS CloudWatch) with ability to debug and optimize code effectively
- Comfortable working in Agile environments with focus on collaboration, clear technical documentation, and knowledge sharing
