The network team is responsible for designing, building, and operating our global network infrastructure that connects our offices, data centres, cloud environments, and remote users. They ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity to support the needs of our rapidly growing business., We're looking for an experienced Network Manager to lead our network team. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic direction, overseeing the stability, performance, and evolution of our enterprise network. You'll be responsible for running a reliable and secure global network, while also driving the adoption of modern solutions and using automation and AI. You'll lead a globally distributed team, support acquisition integrations, and help ensure that our infrastructure scales with the business. You'll have real impact, clear responsibility, and the chance to modernise how networking is done across our global footprint., Role specific:
- Lead a global team of network engineers, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management.
- Own the end-to-end operation and stability of the global enterprise network, across data centres, cloud, offices and remote users.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure high network availability, reliability, and performance.
- Oversee and optimise network operations, including incident response, change management, monitoring, and proactive maintenance.
- Architect and maintain a scalable, secure, and modern network.
- Improve observability by leveraging tools for performance monitoring, fault detection, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate closely with security and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment and integration across platforms.
- Contribute to capacity planning, scalability initiatives, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure future-proof infrastructure.
- Support M&A integrations, including discovery, planning, and execution of network consolidation and onboarding strategies for newly acquired companies.
- Standardise network tools, policies, and configurations across acquired entities to meet enterprise
- Manage the relationships with Network vendors, manages renewals and identify cost/value optimisation initiatives that meet the organisation's objectives
- Continuously improve network processes and capabilities through automation, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Serve as a key escalation point during critical incidents and participate in post-incident reviews with actionable outcomes.
- Project network consultancy for different line of business for new technical network requirements.
- Ensuring network projects are delivered on time and on budget.
- Resource planning and allocation to ensure priorities are met.
- Tracks and manages the overall Network budget.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Requirements
- Team Management and Leadership Experience (minimum 5 years)
- Previous experience of working in the finance industry
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale networks
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices related to networks
- Project management skills from inception to delivery
- Experience with global rollout of SASE, SSE solutions, Prisma Access, Zscaler
- Cloud network design and implementation, AWS, Azure
- Network automation, Infrastructure-as-code, Ansible
- NextGen Layer 7 firewalling, User-ID, SSL decryption, Network Access Control.
- Relevant product Knowledge and Industry Experience - Palo Alto, Cisco, Arista and Juniper, Aruba (WIFI/Clearpass NAC)
- Understanding of WAN technologies: MPLS, IPSEC VPN, SD-WAN, QOS, NAT
- Routing and Switching protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, WIFI, VLAN, Multicast
- WAN/Campus LAN network design and implementation
- Internet, Firewall and DMZ design and implementation
- Understanding of different exchange connectivity (e.g. CME, SGX, ICE, Eurex, LME)
- Experience working in a global organisation with distributed teams
- Use Agile methodologies, Scrum or Kanban
