Structured Cabling & Telecommunication Engineer

Bluemax Technology Support Ltd is seeking a Structured Cabling & Telecommunication Engineer to support ongoing telecom infrastructure and structured cabling projects across customer sites in the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for structured cabling installations, telecom infrastructure support, WiFi and network equipment installations, testing and site-based technical support works.

This role involves working across retail, commercial, healthcare and customer environments while supporting ongoing telecom and network deployment projects.

DUTIES

• Structured cabling installations including Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A systems
• Installation and termination of network cabling
• Cabinet, patch panel and cable management works
• WiFi access point installation and relocation
• Telecom infrastructure support works
• Basic network testing and fault diagnosis
• Site surveys and installation support
• Following customer site health and safety procedures
• Completing installation documentation and job reports

Do you have experience in Telecommunication?, * Experience in structured cabling or telecom installation works preferred

• Basic networking knowledge beneficial
• Ability to work at customer sites across different locations
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• CSCS/IPAF certifications beneficial but not essential
• Experience using hand tools and installation equipment preferred
