Job description
Do you enjoy variety in your day and working with people across a business to make things run smoothly? Are you organised, calm under pressure and good at juggling multiple tasks at once? If so, this could be a great opportunity for you.
We're looking for an IT Logistics Coordinator to join our IT Infrastructure team within NHS Shared Business Services. You'll play a key role in making sure colleagues have the right IT equipment at the right time, supporting starters, leavers and existing employees across multiple locations.
You'll be part of a friendly and supportive team, working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. This is a hybrid role, with attendance at the Leeds office once a month and the flexibility to work from home the rest of the time.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinating the build, delivery and collection of laptops and IT peripherals for starters and leavers.
- Managing end-user requests for hardware, software and accessories.
- Liaising with internal teams, suppliers and couriers to resolve delivery and collection queries.
- Tracking IT assets, maintaining accurate records and monitoring stock levels.
- Raising purchase orders and processing invoices for IT goods and services.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of IT logistics activities.
What you'll bring:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- The ability to work under pressure and respond positively to changing priorities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Confidence communicating clearly and professionally with colleagues and suppliers.
It would be great if you had:
- Experience working in a similar logistics, IT or operational environment.
- Experience creating and maintaining process documentation or end-user guides.
- Experience using SharePoint and IT service management tools such as TOPdesk.
- Awareness of Information Technology Infrastructure Library practices.
If you're interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we're looking for, please do apply, we'd love to hear from you!
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Location: Leeds - hybrid working with monthly office attendance.
Security Clearance Level: SC.
Internal Recruiter: Kayleigh.
Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum.
Benefits: 25 days annual leave with the choice to buy additional days, health cash plan, life assurance, and pension.
Although this role is advertised as full-time, we support many ways of working and can offer a range of flexible working arrangements. So, if you're interested and need to work flexibly, we encourage you to apply and talk to us about what might be possible.
