Job description

This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, partnering closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI solutions. The AI Engineer will design, build, test, and deploy Copilot agents using tools such as Agent Builder and Copilot Studio, grounding solutions in enterprise data sources including SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, and other business systems. Acting as an internal subject-matter expert, this individual will provide guidance on Microsoft Copilot and other large language models, including best practices for prompt engineering, model selection, and enterprise data protection. The position plays a key role in driving AI adoption by leading training sessions, hosting office hours, and developing enablement resources such as knowledge bases, FAQs, and reusable prompt libraries. This individual will also help establish and maintain responsible AI practices by collaborating with cross-functional teams including Legal, HR, Cybersecurity, and Compliance to define governance standards, usage policies, and approval workflows for AI tools. Additionally, the AI Engineer will track adoption metrics such as user engagement, license utilization, and solution impact, reporting measurable outcomes to leadership while staying current on evolving AI capabilities and proactively communicating their potential business impact.

Requirements

3-6+ years of experience in IT, business analysis, automation, or AI/data-related roles with hands-on AI delivery experience

Strong expertise in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience working with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and agent development

Familiarity with large language models and prompt engineering techniques

Experience with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse) and basic knowledge of Azure AI concepts

Understanding of data security, permissions, sensitivity labels, and AI governance

Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Self-starter with a passion for driving AI adoption and innovation

Benefits & conditions

Hourly Rate: $60-80 per hour based on years of experience, Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
