Job description
Own and manage the product backlog for assigned HR systems based on stakeholder priorities
- Build strong relationships with HR COEs and business operational leaders
- Define business requirements and translate them into detailed, executable project plans
- Review technical specifications to ensure IT builds align with business intent
- Define test strategy, test cases, and assess expected results for system changes
- Lead gap analysis, process landscape mapping, and organizational impact assessments
- Develop and execute change management and communications strategy (including champion networks)
- Manage project risks - remove barriers or escalate issues to senior leadership as needed
- Run workshops with business stakeholders, executives, and third-party groups Monitor industry and market trends to proactively anticipate stakeholder needs
Requirements
- 10+ years of operational HR experience across multiple HR process areas
- 3-5 years of people leadership experience
- Proven track record in project management using Agile, PMP, Scrum, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience across broad HR systems: HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Workforce Mgmt
- Experience with SuccessFactors or comparable HR technology platforms
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and cutover support skills
- Ability to manage multiple detailed workstreams simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills - comfortable with executives Experience facilitating workshops with business leaders and third-party vendors
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience in large, complex organizations - logistics, cruise, airline, or hospitality
- Consulting or SI background
- Salesforce or Case Management platform experience
- Formal PMP, SAFe, or Scrum certification
- Experience building or scaling a product ownership function Exposure to shipboard or operations-facing HR programs
