Job description
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business problems, data needs, and analytics opportunities.
- Translate business questions into data-driven analyses, dashboards, reports, and actionable insights.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines
- Perform data quality checks (validation, reconciliation, basic monitoring) and help troubleshoot data issues
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and key drivers.
- Develop and present clear recommendations, visualizations, and storytelling that support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver analytics solutions that improve business performance.
- Support the development and maintenance of repeatable reporting processes, data models, and analytical tools.
- Help identify opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency, and analytical capabilities.
- Stay current on emerging data, analytics, and visualization methods to bring innovative ideas to the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST".
- Based on our contractual obligations, candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen.
- Minimum TWO (2) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a related analytical role. (6 months of internship or paid work thru college may be utilized as part of the 2 years).
- Strong proficiency with Python or other programming language.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL.
- Experience with CoPilot, ChatGPT and/or Claude to support faster coding or analysis.
- Ability to gather requirements, analyze complex information, and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with large or complex datasets and turning data into meaningful business recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- This is a hybrid role with requirement to go into one of the listed GH offices, candidate must be within a commutable distance to one of the offices listed.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Consulting experience supporting external clients or multiple business functions.
- Experience with data preparation, automation, or process improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, data governance, or data quality practices.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience and/or interest in energy and utilities

Job Family: Data Science Consulting, The annual salary range for this position is $89,000.00-$148,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
