Job description
As a UX Designer at Portland Webworks, you can expect to:
- Design user-centered wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and personas
- Lead discovery sessions and requirements gathering with clients. Translate user needs into intuitive designs
- Conduct user research and usability tests to inform design decisions
- Present designs and collect feedback from stakeholders and internal teams, advocating for user-centered solutions
- Produce site maps and navigable information architecture
- Hand off designs with detailed documentation to developers
- Partner closely with a team of highly skilled software developers, project managers, graphic designers, and quality assurance professionals throughout the entire project life cycle
- Manage multiple client projects and timelines at once
- Conduct site audits and content review
Requirements
Do you have experience in User research for product design?, * 3-5 years of UX design experience
- Highly proficient in Figma creating wireframes and managing large design files
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills. Be a proactive participant in meetings
- Willingness to accept feedback to iterate and improve on designs
- Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience working at an agency a plus
- Experience working in the public sector a plus
