What You'll Do
- Travel to project sites within the Midwest (Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana) to install and retrieve temporary traffic monitoring equipment (cameras, road tubes) on streets and intersections.
- Perform installations during day, night, weekday, or weekend shifts based on client needs-your schedule stays dynamic and varied!
- Follow detailed client specs and company guidelines for safe, accurate setups (including simple sketches or signal timing observations when needed).
- Collect and record field observations, upload data promptly, and report any issues (e.g., construction, weather, or equipment concerns) right away.
- Maintain equipment and company vehicle to high standards.
- Send quick daily emails to confirm schedules, installation success, and data submission timelines (simple and straightforward).
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Outdoor work?, * Valid driver's license + clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50lbs frequently and work outdoors in various weather.
- High-speed internet access (for data uploads and communication).
- Basic computer skills (email, attaching files, downloading).
- Excellent communication and a good sense of direction.
- Open availability-including weekends, nights, and frequent overnight travel.
- Must pass a drug test.
