Job description
Under administrative direction of the Chief, Bureau of Compliance and Evaluation, serves as Data Manager, maintaining the OIG Incident Tracking System requirements. Prepares and analyzes statistical data reports utilizing Excel, Access, SQL (Structured Query Language), Power BI, Business Objects or other reporting platforms. Serves as a working supervisor to staff responsible for Information and Data Analysis. Independently directs the gathering and analysis of relevant facts and data concerning abuse and neglect investigations; makes recommendations for policy and procedure development/revision within the Bureau and the Office of the Inspector General., * Serves as Data Manager in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Serves as a working supervisor.
- Reviews, revises, and implements management procedures for the gathering and compiling of relevant data and facts concerning the full range of cases under investigation by investigators.
- Serves as liaison between the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) and the office staff on technology needs.
- Prepares administrative leave reports, reviews and revises reports.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Requirements
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college.
- Requires three (3) years progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or private organization., * Of the three (3) years of administrative experience, requires three (3) years of professional experience as a data analyst in the development of performance indicators, organizing, planning, executing and maintaining management strategies to be used by the program and services, designing and building efficient data pipelines and storage systems, and analyzing complex datasets using statistical, machine learning, and programming techniques., * Three (3) years of professional experience as a data analyst in the development of performance indicators, organizing, planning, executing and maintaining management strategies to be used by the program and services, designing and building efficient data pipelines and storage systems, and analyzing complex datasets using statistical, machine learning, and programming techniques.
- Three (3) years of professional experience utilizing logic models and data analysis techniques with an advanced understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, hypothesis testing and data visualizations through the use of software such as Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Three (3) years of professional experience managing highly complex projects to improve performance and efficiency for a public or private organization.
- Three (3) years of professional experience working with SQL (Structured Query Language) or other reporting platform languages for the purpose of creating comprehensive internal agency and external public reports.
- Three (3) years of professional experience in creating and evaluating policies and procedures, performing data analysis, preparing reports and providing recommendations while consulting on continuous improvement efforts for a public or private organization.
