Software Developer

An employer in the Dayton, Ohio area is seeking a Software Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible for developing and delivering web-based solutions within a cloud and microservices environment while working both independently and as part of an Agile team to meet project deadlines. They will collaborate closely with engineers and designers to plan, build, and enhance software systems, solve complex technical problems, and provide regular updates on progress to stakeholders. Candidates must have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance and be available to work on-site five days per week.

Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance Bachelor's Degree (STEM) 3-5 years of experience in a Software Development role Experience with Java or Python experience Experience with HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, TypeScript Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular or NextJs

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Active security clearance Experience developing microservices using the Spring Framework Demonstrated use of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) and configuration management (Git, Bitbucket) Experience working with Jira and Gitlab Experience working in Agile software development environment Experience working with Rust or Go
