Job description

Senior Oracle Database Administrator with an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance Required, Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD, We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator with 10+ years Oracle database administration experience supporting large scale or enterprise level database services. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance. This is a 100% Onsite position and not open for Hybrid and/or Remote.

Senior Oracle Database Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Provide technology and industry leadership on large and/or more complex IT engagements.

  • Lead enterprise-wide solution engagements for high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.

  • Develop an integrated and robust solution based on customer needs combining GOTS, COTS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and third-party components.

  • Provide subject matter experience to assist customers through difficult business decisions.

  • Design, configure and implement all aspects of the full stack architecture delivering innovative solutions by combining Oracle best practices, knowledge in IT product offerings, and business acumen.

  • Recommend enhancements to meet complex customer needs.

Requirements

Must have an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related course of study, or equivalent years of experience.

  • 10+ years of experience administering to, and engineering solutions with Oracle s database 10 to current.

  • Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.

  • Significant experience with the production and deployment of RAC, RMAN backup & recovery.

  • Experience with Oracle Exadata, Database Security, Data Guard and/or Database Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration.

  • Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
