• Perform troubleshooting and configuration tasks appropriate to experience level

• Execute routine maintenance, documentation updates, and change activities

• Escalate and resolve issues effectively while expanding technical capabilities

• Participate in network projects, including staging/builds, deployments, and enhancements

Understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing basics, firewall fundamentals)

• Experience with access layer switch configuration, port troubleshooting, and basic connectivity issues

• Comfortable working in ticketing and change management systems

• Ability to follow established procedures while learning more advanced networking skills

• Strong motivation, reliability, and communication skills

Level 2

• Hands-on experience with enterprise routing, switching, and firewall technologies

-Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer network issues

• Strong configuration, deployment, and change execution skills with minimal oversight

• Familiarity with network segmentation, security best practices, and enterprise architecture concepts

• Experience contributing to design discussions and mentoring junior engineers

• Highly self-driven, organized, and capable of owning issues end-to-end

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
