Perform troubleshooting and configuration tasks appropriate to experience level

Execute routine maintenance, documentation updates, and change activities

Escalate and resolve issues effectively while expanding technical capabilities

Participate in network projects, including staging/builds, deployments, and enhancements

Requirements
Understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing basics, firewall fundamentals)

Experience with access layer switch configuration, port troubleshooting, and basic connectivity issues

Comfortable working in ticketing and change management systems

Ability to follow established procedures while learning more advanced networking skills

Strong motivation, reliability, and communication skills
Level 2
- Hands-on experience with enterprise routing, switching, and firewall technologies
-Ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layer network issues

Strong configuration, deployment, and change execution skills with minimal oversight

Familiarity with network segmentation, security best practices, and enterprise architecture concepts

Experience contributing to design discussions and mentoring junior engineers

Highly self-driven, organized, and capable of owning issues end-to-end

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
