Job description
The Data Scientist will focus on performing ETL / data cleaning, developing interactive visualizations, building predictive models, and support implementing Artificial Intelligence solutions tied to asset and material maintenance and management data, as well as policy data. The data analyst will be responsible for all of the following to include but not limited to:
- Dedicated to workstream tasking and reports directly to the workstream lead
- Working closely with workstream lead in day-to-day execution of project tasks
- Collect, and analyze diverse data for creation of performance metrics and producing outputs to client
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
- Bachelors Degree.
- THREE (3) or more years of specialized experience in data analysis.
- Python or R Programming experience
- Experience in at least one visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Power BI)
- Must be able to be on client site at least 3-4 days a week in the Tidewater area.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience developing data pipelines and scripts using Databricks
- Experience developing in Palantir Foundry
- RPA or general automation experience in UiPath or Microsoft Power Automate
- Experience implementing military or industry business solutions and services
- Experience in understanding and applying data to develop reports, visualizations, and other deliverables
- Experience in analysis of statistical and mathematical modeling of data (i.e., regression analysis, simulation, impact analyses, geographic analyses, performance measurement/management)
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) (Desirable)
- Knowledge of Navy operations and data systems, in particular Naval supply and or maintenance
