Job description

CACI has an immediate need for a Test Automation Engine to support our Client in Chantilly, VA. This position will focus on developing and implementing automated test scripts and creating, executing, and maintaining automated test cases to ensure the quality and performance of the system., * Analyze user stories and requirements to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test scripts for applications, workflows, and integrations using Playwright
  • Map test cases to the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • Deliver working automated test scripts along with corresponding test results
  • Report on the status of test automation in weekly/monthly reports
  • Participate in the development of the Automation Test Plan
  • Generate Automated Test Execution Results after each test execution
  • Conduct Section 508 compliance testing using JAWS and Lighthouse to ensure ServiceNow solutions meet federal accessibility requirements
  • Conduct penetration testing using ZAP
  • Implement defect management processes using JIRA or equivalent tools, tracking defects from discovery through resolution with severity classification, root cause analysis, and trend reporting
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Active and current TS/SCI with polygraph
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • 5+ years of experience in software test automation
  • Proficiency with Playwright for automation testing.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI into automated testing
  • Hands-on experience with at least one test automation framework

Desired:

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
  • Performance and load testing automation experience
  • Experience with automation software
  • ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent
  • Familiarity with load testing

The proposed salary range for this position is: $103,800 - $218,100
