Senior UPS Field Service Technician - Salt Lake City, UT - 9 month Data Center Project

Superior Skilled Trades is hiring experienced UPS Field Service Technicians for an immediate-start project at a major data center in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is a 9-month assignment supporting commissioning and startup of Delta Electronics critical power equipment. We are seeking senior-level techs with significant hands-on UPS experience.

Schedule:

First shift - 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on site.

What you'll do:

• Perform L2 and L3 commissioning on UPS modules, PDUs, and related critical power equipment
• Verify mechanical and electrical installation against OEM specifications
• Load firmware, calibrate, and run functional tests on UPS systems
• Support the on-site integrator and Delta commissioning team to hit throughput targets
• Document all work using OEM commissioning forms and red-line drawings

Do you have experience in On-site technical support?, * Direct, hands-on UPS commissioning experience (Vertiv, APC, Schneider, Eaton, Mitsubishi, ABB, or Delta) - senior-level preferred

• Comfortable working in and around 480V three-phase systems
• Able to read single-line diagrams and wiring schematics
• Willing to travel and work on site for the full project duration
• Note: Generalist electricians without UPS commissioning experience are not a fit for this role
