Job description
The Network Engineer is responsible for monitoring network performance, ensuring system availability, and maintaining reliability across all infrastructure. This role leads the configuration and installation of network devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS. The engineer performs complex maintenance and system upgrades, applying service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. They assist in developing and implementing security policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting information security awareness throughout the organization. The position provides advanced Level 3 support and troubleshooting for highly complex technical issues. Working within established change management policies, the engineer ensures successful implementation of infrastructure changes. Additionally, they serve as the primary liaison with vendors and internal IT teams, selecting and deploying security tools with significant autonomy.
Requirements
3+ years of Network Engineering experience in enterprise environments, including hands-on work with Cisco or Palo Alto FTD firewalls (maintenance, upgrades, and implementations)

Proven ability to design, implement, and support complex network infrastructure, providing Level 3 troubleshooting across routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and QoS and

Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, OCI) with focus on network configurations, firewall rules, and hybrid infrastructure support

Hands-on experience with network monitoring, diagnostics tools, and Cisco data center technologies (ACI/Nexus), along with performing upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
-Solid background in network security and operations, including vulnerability management, incident response, security control assessments, and supporting critical infrastructure - Experience with F5 load balancing technologies (BIG-IP/LTM), including configuring and managing traffic distribution across enterprise applications
