AutoCAD Machining Visionary Innovation Ergonomics 3D Modeling Sheet Metal Fabrication SolidWorks (CAD) Material Handling Mechanical Design Project Schedules Project Management Production Process Robot End Effector Mechanical Engineering Structural Engineering New Product Development Artificial Intelligence Critical Illness Insurance, As a Design Engineer, you will utilize SolidWorks to design jigs, fixtures, end effector tooling, and other custom equipment. You will perform structural design and FEA analysis when needed, collaborate closely with customers regarding design plans and project schedules, and support the assembly of your designs both in our shop and during installation at customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Use SolidWorks to design jigs, fixtures, end effector tooling, and custom equipment.
- Perform structural design and FEA analysis as required.
- Collaborate with customers on design plans and project schedules/updates.
- Support the assembly of your designs in our shop and during installation at customer locations., The work environment involves partnering with companies to design, build, and implement custom manufacturing solutions with a focus on tooling, jigs, fixtures, and material handling systems. The team works closely with the plant to engineer and develop solutions that improve precision, optimize production processes, enhance ergonomics, and ensure safety. Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft products.
- Experience with machining, fabrication, and new product development.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic sheet metal knowledge.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is favorable.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong project management skills.
- Expertise in mechanical design and tooling fixture design.
- Ability to perform FEA analysis.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Georgetown, KY. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
