Job description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse / Inventory Specialist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and optimizing the supply chain process. This position requires strong data analysis skills and a solid understanding of materials management and warehouse operations. Duties
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Implement effective materials handling procedures to enhance efficiency in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure alignment between inventory levels and customer demand.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and sales.
- Assist in developing strategies for inventory reduction while maintaining service levels., * Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain an accurate inventory by conducting regular stock checks and updating records.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and adheres to all safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inventory control or related field.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in analytics tools.
- Knowledge of materials management principles and warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with stock procurement processes and materials handling techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Organize and store inventory in the appropriate locations.
Benefits & conditions
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
