Job Summary We ar e seeking a Cloud Engineer to join the Container Management Platform team within Cleint Architecture and Engineering. This team is responsible for enabling next-generation streaming platforms across Cleint . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and cloud engineering, with expertise in Kubernetes, automation, and modern programming languages. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge container technologies, building platforms for exceptional scale, while contributing to open-source communities and continuous learning initiatives. Key Responsibilities Buil d, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (EKS and AKS). Extend Kubernetes functionality, including building operators and custom resources. Develop scalable cloud applications using AWS and/or Azure. Create SDKs in Go or Python and contribute to automation scripting. Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and integrate DevOps best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver containerized solutions. Contribute to open-source projects and knowledge sharing within the engineering community. Participate in weekly learning initiatives to stay current with emerging te chnologies. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience. 5+ years of professional experience in software and cloud engineering. Strong expertise in Kubernetes (EKS and AKS). Hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining clusters. Proficiency in Java or Golang. Background in software development with transition into cloud engineering/Kubernetes work. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins. Strong understanding of Kubernetes core concepts and cloud-native application development. Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services. Familiarity with software engineering best practices and DevOps cultur e. Preferred Qualifications Experience with GitOps-based tooling (e.g., ArgoCD). Experience creating SDKs in Go or Python scripting. Familiarity with container orchestration and automation at scale. Strong ability to work autonomously and deliver results indepe ndently.
