Within Lockheed Martin Space, the Victor Program Area is looking for a highly motivated, early career DevSecOps (DSO) engineer to join the Arctic Gates program, which will be developing and integrating an Operational C2 system in a virtual cloud environment. As a Developer for the effort, LM will be working closely with Mission Partners to deliver a fully integrated system comprised of critical software applications to the Customer.
The qualified candidate will work closely w/ the DSO lead to leverage the latest DevSecOps tools and methodologies to deliver value to our customers quickly, efficiently, and repeatedly. As a member of Infrastructure & Cyber agile team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the following types of tasks:
- Help in standing up and supporting development and production deployment pipelines, development and operational platform services, and provide overall platform support
- Assist in implementing common authentication, security compliance and vulnerability mitigation, and support all certifications (such as Certification to Field and Authority to Operate)
- Helping to develop cloud standards and guidance, and performing AWS platform integration
- Support to collaboration and team efforts - Integration Working Groups, Integration and Factory Test events, DR and Tech Debt Workoff
- Agile Execution process - Participate in all aspects of the release and sprint planning, release and spring demonstrations, and Incremental Design Reviews (IDRs)
- Travel - there may be opportunities, if desired, to travel to support Working groups, Customer meetings, and integration events

Requirements

Experience automating deployment and managing containerized applications (i.e. Kubernetes / Helm)

Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure in the cloud (i.e. Terraform / Ansible)

Experience with Python or Bash

Active Top Secret security clearance to start and maintain level of clearance throughout the course of employment

Ability to obtain additional program accesses Desired Skills:

Security+ Certification (or DoD 8140/8570.01-M equivalent), or willingness to obtain certification

Experience with Linux System Administration

Networking Fundamentals

Windows Operation System / Domain Administration

Software development in JavaScript / Node / C#

Cloud Experience with OpenStack / AWS

Experience with COTS/FOSS configuration and integration

Experience working on an Agile scrum team

Active TS/SCI clearance
