Job description
We are looking for a sharp, self-driven Business Development Manager to own and grow our revenue pipeline across two lines of professional services (data architecture, FHIR interoperability, clinical data modelling) and corporate training (FHIR Bootcamp, openEHR, health data standards).
You will be in the field meeting prospects, visiting existing clients, attending industry conferences, and building the kind of relationships that turn into long-term enterprise contracts. You will report directly to leadership and have a direct line to every decision that shapes our go-to-market.
What You Will Do
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for healthcare IT services and corporate training engagements
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline targeting US-based health systems, EHR vendors, digital health companies, payers, and health-tech startups
- Conduct regular on-site visits to existing and prospective clients across the US - this role requires travel
- Build deep, trust-based relationships with decision-makers: CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Chief Medical Informatics Officers, and procurement leads
- Represent Medblocks at healthcare IT conferences, trade shows, and industry events
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time-based sales targets?, * 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, with at least 2 years selling into healthcare IT, health-tech, or enterprise software
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a quota-carrying role
- Experience with enterprise sales cycles - prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Background in selling corporate training or L&D programmes to enterprises
- Comfort with in-person client meetings, site visits, and travel (up to 30-40% of the time)
- Strong LinkedIn social selling skills - you know how to build pipeline through content, engagement, and direct outreach
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Boston, MA metro area

Pay: $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
