You will work on both new development and operations and maintenance efforts, supporting multiple specialized software subsystems and delivering new capabilities in close coordination with a restricted customer. The position is fully on-site in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) in Redondo Beach, CA, where you will help design, build, and sustain software that supports vital mission operations., * Perform as a C++ software developer within a fast-paced, agile team environment using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) virtual machines, servers, and workstations.

• Design, implement, and unit test new software capabilities based on Mathematical Algorithm Requirements (MARs).
• Analyze, identify, and troubleshoot software issues, and develop and deliver fixes to resolve Discrepancy Reports (DRs).
• Collaborate closely with software Integrated Project Team (IPT) subject matter experts and Higher engineers across multiple specialized software subsystems.
• Support both development and operations and maintenance (O&M) activities across several mission operational software product lines.
• Contribute to the sustainment and enhancement of existing mission software while also participating in the development of new capabilities.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and team coordination activities to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of software solutions., This role is based 100% on-site in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) located in Redondo Beach, CA. The environment is classified, secure, and highly controlled, with restrictions on personal electronic devices, including no personal phones inside the workspace. You will work as part of a large software Integrated Project Team composed of multiple specialized subsystems, using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) virtual machines, servers, and workstations in a fast-paced, agile setting. • Proven experience developing software in C++.
• Hands-on experience working in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, including virtual machines, servers, and workstations.
• Ability to design, code, and unit test software capabilities from formal requirements such as Mathematical Algorithm Requirements (MARs).
• Experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects, including preparing and delivering fixes for Discrepancy Reports (DRs).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agile team environment.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with subject matter experts and higher engineers across multiple software subsystems.
• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility to hold Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), with the ability to work in a SCIF.
• Ability and willingness to work 100% on-site in Redondo Beach, CA, within a SCIF., * Experience supporting both development and operations and maintenance (O&M) software efforts.
• Experience working on large, integrated software teams with multiple specialized subsystems.
• Familiarity with mission-critical or operational software product lines.
• Interest in working on pioneering systems and technologies that have long-term impact on national and global missions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redondo Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $90.00/hr.
