Job description

Lead network design process, manage existing networks. Work in collaboration with the US Government network engineers, US Government Cyber/IA engineers, and other professionals in network setup and configuration. Analyze and administer the technical architecture of Local Area Networks and Wide Area Networks Superior troubleshooting skills, ability to isolate problems, restore service and determine root cause. Work in a network engineering sandbox, developing, and integrating various Cisco products. Design and implementation of complex solutions Investigate and recommend security products with a focus on integration of management and monitoring platforms. Experience providing resolution to networking problems associated with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) networks and upgrades Experience serving as a networking subject matter expert to engineers, technicians, and IT specialists in planning, distributing, coordinating, and monitoring networking work assignments of the program

Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to strengthen networking initiatives supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with military C4I systems and secure operational networks. This role requires the capability to lead complex networking efforts independently, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness in addressing challenging technical issues. Up to 25% OCONUS travel will be required to support integration and testing activities, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field. 7-10 years of Network Engineering experience in the following areas: Proficient in Cisco network devices including switches, routers and firewalls Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures utilizing Cisco products. Advance knowledge with TCP/IP, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, DMVPN/mGRE. Experience using network Performance/Load testing tools (e.g., Spirent, T-Berd) Must be able to diagnose and resolve network hardware and software problems associated with the data center infrastructure.

Experience with documenting Network Designs Experience performing site surveys/ PITCO evaluations on equipment and SOVts Experience as a systems administrator for various operating systems Experience with VMWare Experience with COMSEC Ability to create documents for use in training operations personnel. Active Secret Clearance, Active CCNP, CCNP Security, or CCIE Skilled in implementing network security solutions including firewalls and intrusion prevention systems. Familiarity with Cyber Security Tools like Splunk, Vectra Networks, Security Onion Deep understanding of IPSEC and 802.1X Familiarity with Virtualization platforms involving Network Function Virtualization and VMware ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V Should be well-versed with all aspects of project management such as team building, staff training and scheduling.

Clearance Requirements

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment. The pay range for this role is:
