Job description

Design, architect, and oversee end-to-end integration solutions across enterprise platforms, applications, and external systems.

Lead the development and governance of APIs, middleware solutions, and event-driven architectures to ensure scalability, performance, and resiliency.

Architect and support real-time, near real-time, and asynchronous integrations using modern integration patterns and messaging frameworks.

Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless connectivity between systems and services

Design and implement integrations for industrial machines, IoT platforms, and edge systems, ensuring secure and reliable data ingestion and processing.

Establish integration standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines to ensure consistency and long-term maintainability.

Ensure system integrations meet high availability, performance, security, and compliance requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, providing architectural guidance and root-cause analysis

Evaluate and recommend integration technologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with business and technical strategy.
Requirements

7-10+ years' experience in integration architecture

Strong expertise in APIs, middleware, event-driven systems
-
Experience with industrial machines / IoT (important)

Ensure robust and real-time system integrations

On-site presence in Kinston, NC 3 days/week
Salary Range: $80K-$150K
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
