The Manager of Academic Systems serves as the academic operational leader responsible for managing the systems, infrastructure, and operational execution that support teaching and learning across the school.
This role oversees academic platforms, student data systems, curriculum logistics, assessment infrastructure, master scheduling, academic calendars, and instructional operations to ensure strong execution, alignment, and efficiency across the organization.
The Manager of Academic Systems partners closely with school leadership, instructional leaders, operations, and external vendors to build and maintain high-functioning academic systems that enable educators to focus on student achievement and instructional excellence.

Serve as the primary manager of the school's academic systems and instructional platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee implementation, management, and optimization of academic systems and platforms, including:
- Student Information Systems (SIS)
- Assessment and progress-monitoring platforms
- Curriculum and instructional platforms
- Intervention, ADSIS, and academic support systems
- Academic reporting and analytics tools
- Manage platform setup, user access, permissions, and workflows.
- Coordinate troubleshooting and support with vendors and internal teams.
- Develop system procedures, guides, and operational protocols.
- Ensure consistency and alignment across all academic systems.

Lead management of the school's academic data systems and assessment operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate benchmark, progress-monitoring, and state assessment systems.
- Develop and maintain academic dashboards, trackers, and reporting systems.
- Ensure integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of student achievement data.
- Support leadership teams with data analysis and reporting needs.
- Manage academic reporting cycles and data collection timelines.
- Produce reports for leadership, board committees, accountability requirements, and instructional teams.

Lead the development and maintenance of schoolwide academic scheduling systems.
Responsibilities include:

- Coordinate academic calendars and instructional pacing timelines.
- Ensure schedules align with instructional priorities, staffing models, and operational realities.
- Collaborate with leadership teams on scheduling adjustments and annual planning., * Coordinate curriculum implementation logistics and operational readiness.
- Maintain pacing guides, curriculum maps, and instructional resource systems.
- Coordinate ordering, organization, and distribution of academic materials.
- Support curriculum rollout planning and implementation timelines.
- Ensure instructional systems are operationally aligned across grade levels and departments.
This role supports curriculum systems and implementation logistics rather than direct instructional coaching or evaluation.
- Academic Project Management
Manage operational execution of academic initiatives and priorities.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop project plans and implementation trackers for academic initiatives.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and systems implementation across departments.
- Support schoolwide planning for summer readiness and academic launch.
- Create and maintain SOPs and operational documentation.
- Ensure academic operational deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
- Staff Training & Systems Support
Build staff capacity to effectively utilize academic systems and tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Train staff on academic platforms, systems, and operational processes.
- Develop user guides, resources, and support documentation.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to instructional staff and leaders.
- Promote strong implementation and fidelity of academic systems.
Requirements
Do you have experience in School experience?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in education operations, academic systems, data management, or related fields
- Strong organizational, technical, and project management skills
- Experience managing multiple systems and operational priorities simultaneously
- High attention to detail and follow-through
