Essential Duties and Responsibilities - As a Technical Support Specialist I, you'll play a vital role in assisting customers and internal teams with troubleshooting, product performance optimization, and system support. You'll also contribute to new product development, engineering changes, and process improvements., * Customer Support - Provide technical assistance to domestic and international customers and sales representatives in a professional and timely manner.
- On-Site Assistance - Conduct on-site technical support visits as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction and system functionality.
- System Commissioning - Perform factory commissioning of ENERVEX systems to verify proper installation and operation.
- Warranty Support - Assist with handling and evaluating warranty claims, ensuring accurate resolutions.
- Engineering & Product Development - Collaborate with the Engineering and R&D team on special projects, new product development (NPD), and engineering changes.
- Training & Development - Assist in training key personnel and participate in technical service seminars.
- Custom Panel Support - Support the design, build, and testing of custom electrical panels.
- Problem Resolution - Investigate and resolve product performance issues to improve overall reliability.
- Technical Documentation - Prepare and distribute wiring and connection diagrams using DraftSight or equivalent software for internal and external customers.
- Other Duties - Perform additional tasks as assigned to support company objectives.

- Education & Experience:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree OR 2 years of related experience and/or training.
- Travel:
- Ability to travel up to 50+% of the time.
- Must possess a valid U.S. passport.
Key Skills
- Experience with one or more of the following is beneficial:
- Ventilation Equipment
- Boilers and Water Heaters
- Electric Motors
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Electromechanical Devices (e.g., actuators, relays, solenoids, transformers)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to exercise sound decision-making and take initiative.
- A commitment to high performance, accountability, and timely task completion.
- PC proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office.
- 2D AutoCAD/DraftSight experience is a plus.
