We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive SAP FICO Specialist (Generalist) to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems. Your expertise will drive efficient financial processes, support system architecture design, and contribute to the overall stability and security of our SAP environment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP FICO with other systems such as Pegasystems, NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Develop and implement system architecture solutions that enhance performance, scalability, and security of SAP environments.
- Manage system administration tasks including user access control, system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Design and optimize interfaces using RESTful APIs, SAP BAPIs, and other integration tools to ensure smooth data flow across enterprise applications.
- Support IT infrastructure components such as RAID controllers, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and virtualization platforms like VMware and ESXi to maintain system availability.
- Apply best practices in information security, DevOps processes, SDLC methodologies, and system design principles to safeguard data integrity and compliance.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Version control systems?, * Proven experience working with SAP FICO modules in a generalist capacity within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of system architecture concepts including solution architecture, system design, and IT infrastructure components.
- Hands-on knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Shell Scripting (Bash), T-SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting for automation purposes.
- Familiarity with database management systems including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server; experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS or Azure along with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of computer networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP protocols; experience configuring firewalls and VPNs for secure connectivity.
- Ability to work within Agile development frameworks utilizing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and Git for version control.
- Strong background in systems engineering principles covering operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), system management tools like Microsoft System Center or equivalent.
