Job description
At Adnovum, you will work with our interdisciplinary teams on various agile high-level projects. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Taking over the technical project leadership of developers and integrators, incl. decision-making power
- Acting as the first point of contact for stakeholders, including close cooperation with project managers, clients, and other parties in project planning and implementation
- Building system architectures and defining the overall architecture of complex software systems in the Java Enterprise ecosystem (technology environment, e.g., Java, Spring, Angular, ReactJS, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, SQL, Microsoft Azure, GCP, and AWS)
- Defining both functional and non-functional requirements and making design decisions
- Ensuring the completeness and correctness of the technical specifications and documentation
- Identifying, anticipating, escalating, and mitigating technical risks
- Ensuring and maintaining our high-quality standards
- Supporting and contributing to public tenders and bid processes
Requirements
Do you have a Master's degree?, You feel at ease in software engineering, but are ready to take it to the next level without losing your hands-on approach to coding? You already have experience in taking the technical lead in various software projects and dealing with software architectures? To strengthen our team in Bern and support exciting projects in the public sector, we are looking for a Solution Architect (part-time possible) with a strong understanding of complex application landscapes and client business areas., * A bachelor's or master's degree (ETH/university of applied sciences/university) in computer science
- Experience as a Software Architect or Solution Architect with a strong software engineering background
- 5 or more years of experience in developing complex solutions in the Java Enterprise ecosystem, as well as proven experience with state-of-the-art architecture patterns (e.g. microservices, event-driven serverless architectures)
- Track record of leading client engagements, including workshops, meetings, presentations, and offers (experience in Public Tenders in an advantage)
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) is an advantage
- CPSA-F or TOGAF Foundation certification is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and a structured, analytical approach to work
- Proficiency in German and English
For certain projects in the public sector, a Personal Security Screening (PSS) (Personensicherheitsprüfung, PSP) conducted by Swiss Federal or Cantonal Authorities may be required. Willingness to undergo this clearance is essential.
