Job description
You'll represent IT operations end-to-end for the Berlin office - not just fielding requests, but proactively identifying improvements, driving process quality, and acting as a trusted technical partner to the business. You'll be expected to resolve the majority of issues independently, contribute to IT strategy at the local level, and help shape how IT is delivered as YouLend grows in Europe., * Own the IT support function for the Berlin office - managing the full ticket lifecycle, enforcing SLAs, and maintaining a high standard of service quality with minimal escalation to London.
- Administer and maintain the Microsoft 365 environment - including user provisioning, licence management, security policies, and Entra ID/Active Directory - confidently and independently.
- Lead device management and endpoint configuration across Windows 11, macOS, and iOS - including MDM, imaging, patching, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Own the joiners, movers, and leavers process end-to-end for Berlin, ensuring a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience and compliance with access management standards.
- Manage and maintain office infrastructure - networking, A/V, meeting room technology, and local vendor relationships - proactively flagging risks and driving improvements.
- Build and maintain a high-quality internal knowledge base - creating runbooks, process documentation, and self-service resources that reduce recurring ticket volume.
- Contribute to IT planning and reporting - tracking metrics, identifying trends, and making recommendations to the Head of IT on service improvements and tooling.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, With 4+ years of IT support or operations experience behind you, you'll hit the ground running - comfortable managing competing priorities, engaging confidently with stakeholders at all levels, and making decisions without needing to escalate the everyday., * 3+ years in an IT support or operations role
- Hands-on M365 admin (Entra ID, Exchange, Intune)
- Strong Windows 11, macOS & iOS troubleshooting
- ITSM experience (SolarWinds or equivalent)
- Comfortable operating independently and part of a distributed team
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management
- A/V & video conferencing management
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals
Bonus experience:
- MDM platforms (Intune, Jamf, or similar)
- Teams, Zoom, Atlassian & LastPass administration
- Experience in a scale-up or fintech environment
- IT security awareness or certifications (e.g. CompTIA)
- Experience working with a global/distributed IT function
- German language skills (English essential)
