Requirements

System Engineer with DNS knowledge (IoT) (m/f/d) We create technology with purpose to generate a positive impact on society. At the Telco Hub in Madrid, we pioneer the merger of IT and Telco, building and scaling Telco as a Platform (TaaP) on our proprietary layered cloud. Our mission is to create the best customer experience based on cloud-based, automated, and sustainable principles. These platforms are part of the critical infrastructure and are central core components of our German network. We are looking for a System Engineer to join our team for the resolving DNS platforms. These platforms resolve DNS requests for mobile and fixed networks, as well as for IoT. Implementation and operation of physical, virtualized, and containerized system environments - focus on integrating a new IoT resolving platform in Kubernetes Analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation of system malfunctions

  • regular checks and refinement of automated processes and strategies such as failover, deployment, and disaster recovery to ensure a highly available and resilient system with minimal recovery time Identification, documentation, and structuring of new test use cases - development and optimization of scripts (Ansible, Bash, Perl, Python) Implementing changes in test, reference, and productive systems to enhance system stability and/or provide new features Development of new methods and tools for data analysis and monitoring - cooperate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end system functionality Collaborate closely with the German operations team to streamline processes, enhance software, tools, and system performance, and apply innovative technologies and concepts Extensive know-how in working with Kubernetes to orchestrate CNFs Proficiency in using and adapting Kubernetes configurations Experience with IP networks, router and LAN/WAN technologies, and troubleshooting with tracing tools (e.g., Hands-on experience with monitoring systems and data analytics (Prometheus, Medusa, …) Very good analytical skills combined with strong quality awareness Experience in classic and agile forms of cooperation T-Social: social initiatives (sports, community, health, …) Customized training: access to Coursera to learn whatever you want, whenever you want Weekly language classes (English, Spanish, German) Social fund Free access to specialist services (medical, legal, wellness) ~
