Your Mission As a Senior System Engineer , you will shape how software moves from code to production across Seven Education's product portfolio. You will own and improve the delivery experience for engineering teams by making pipelines, deployments, and release processes faster, safer, and more reliable. In this role, you combine deep technical expertise with informal leadership to strengthen build and delivery engineering across the group. What you'll do - Own and evolve CI pipelines across multiple product lines, with a focus on reliability, speed, and maintainability - Manage the Seven Education GitHub organization, including repository structure, access control, branching strategies, code review workflows, and secrets management - Design, maintain, and improve application deployment tooling, including Helm charts, GitOps workflows, and deployment pipelines - Define and refine deployment standards such as environment promotion, rollback strategies, and release processes - Improve build performance and reduce friction in the software delivery lifecycle - Manage container image registries and support a reliable artifact lifecycle - Partner closely with product engineering teams to shorten feedback loops and make deployments more predictable and repeatable - Act as a trusted technical counterpart for build and delivery topics across the organization - Support and grow the technical capability of the build engineering team through guidance, collaboration, and shared standards What you'll bring - Several years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role focused on software delivery, build infrastructure, or platform engineering - Strong hands-on experience with GitHub at organizational scale, including repository management, GitHub Actions, access policies, and secrets handling - Strong experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing CI pipelines - Solid understanding of Kubernetes application deployment, especially with Helm and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux - Experience managing container registries and artifact pipelines - A strong understanding of the full software delivery lifecycle, including branching models, environment management, and release coordination - Confidence working across multiple teams and translating technical complexity into scalable, practical delivery standards - A collaborative and enabling mindset, with the ability to support engineers and improve developer experience across product teams - Experience with build performance optimization, such as caching, parallelization, or incremental pipelines, is helpful - Experience consolidating workflows or repositories into a unified GitHub organization is a plus - Interest in building self-service tooling for product engineers is welcome - Professional working proficiency in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment Where you'll be This role is based in Madrid or Girona and works in a hybrid setup.
