Job description
responsibility as Power BI Consultant: Dashboard Design & Data preparation - Design intuitive, visually immersive dashboards using Power BI. - Source, shape, and transform raw data into structured, analysis-ready formats using Power Query, M, and SQL. - Detect and calculate meaningful derived metrics and KPIs to surface relevant business insights. - Ensure data quality and consistency across reporting layers, from source systems to final dashboards. Data transformation - Connect Power BI to cloud data sources using DirectQuery for real-time analytics. - Work within GCP environments - primarily BigQuery - to query, model, and optimize data for BI consumption. - Write advanced DAX measures and calculated columns to support complex analytical requirements. Business & IT Collaboration - Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa. - Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering

sessions with business users to define reporting needs and priorities. - Support the setup and governance of enterprise reporting solutions, ensuring alignment with data standards. Training & End User Enablement - Train and support end users in their self-service reporting journey, building autonomy and data literacy across the organization. - Produce documentation and guidelines for dashboard usage, data definitions, and best practices. As an ideal candidate you have: - Experience in the design and the development of dashboards and reports with Power BI . - Proven experience using DirectQuery for real-time connection to datasets in cloud. - Proven experience using Cloud environment, preferably GCP (Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery). - Used to act as a bridge between business teams and IT teams . - High knowledge of DAX, M and Power Query . - Biological background preferred (academic and/or professional experiences). - Solid basis in SQL and Python. - Fluency in Spanish and English; the ability to work in French is highly appreciated.
