Join us to shape the future of work: your next adventure awaits Analytics Engineering Analytics Engineering is part of the Central Analytics team, responsible for providing clean, accurate, well-modeled data ready for analysis. The role involves transforming, testing, and documenting data, as well as understanding user requirements and performing data analysis and dashboarding. Responsibilities - Data modeling - model raw data into clean, tested, and reusable datasets using dbt. - Data transformation - apply various transformations (combining, cleansing, flattening, aggregation, etc.) to build a coherent foundation layer for reporting and analysis. - Quality code - ensure that SQL code is performant, well-formatted, maintainable, and consistently applies appropriate naming and development conventions. - Data documentation - provide clear descriptions of data and stages of transformation, exposing them so all consumers can easily find answers to their queries. - Data quality management - define measures and create testing processes to ensure data accuracy for operational and analytics needs. - Software engineering best practices for analytics - apply best practices (especially in dbt) in terms of version control, testing, and deployment. - Data visualization - build dashboards, charts, and reports using BI tools. - Close collaboration with other teams - work collaboratively with data engineers and business analysts to align data assets with business requirements. Requirements - 4+ years of experience in data transformation and modeling; commercial experience with Kimball/Dimensional or Data Vault methodologies is highly desirable. - Experience in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar. - Strong SQL skills. - 1+ year of experience working with DBT. - Experience building reporting layers for BI tools or dashboarding. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with different levels of management, the business, and technical communities. - Fluent in English. Desirable - Refactoring and/or data warehouse migration projects. - SQL performance tuning. - Data catalog, quality, lineage, observability, and metadata projects. - Python and Airflow.
