Backend Engineer

You will participate in international projects based on Java technologies using Spring & Spring Boot framework. Development of innovative web applications using state-of-the-art tools and agile methodologies. You will have the possibility of participating in the complete life cycle of the project from the analysis of requirements to the end and delivery. During your first week in the project you will start by learning what we do and how we do it. You'll have time to set up all the config you need for the project (IntelliJ, Gitlab, JIRA boards, etc). This first month at Emineo you will start working with small tasks in order to get the feeling of the project and get familiar to the architecture. After 3 months you are part of Emineo, you feel more comfortable in the project and you are able to implement more complex tasks. After 6 months you are fully integrated in the project and you have a better understanding of the application. Technical studies related to software engineering or Bachelor / Master. At least 5 years experience in Java 11+ in a similar position and senior in Backend. At least 3 years experience in Spring Framework / Spring Boot / Spring Data JPA. Experience in Agile Software projects (Scrum). Experience in testing with Spring. Kubernetes, Docker. Knowledge of Project Management Portal as user level (Jira, Azure Devops, GitLab). Valuable Apache, Kafka or Rabbit MQ. Good level of English B2-C1. Focus on high test coverage. ~ Amazing work environment in our office in Valencia City center.
