Job description

Onsite Support (OSS) handles all IT hardware devices and support all IT services on a NXP location. The scope of work includes Maintaining, Analyzing, Troubleshooting, installing computer hardware, software, network, video conference rooms and provide hands and feet support for global IT teams.

The most common roles of OSS in Normal Secure are mentioned below (not limited to):

  1. Work on Incidents, Service Requests & Assist VIP Support and global IT teams with problems, Onboardings- and Off-Boarding Activities, Remote Support Coordination, Inventory Management.

  2. Networking support such as Patching and Debugging.

  3. Interact with end-users for requestsincidents and follow up with users via teamsmail.

  4. Hardware repair support including offer request & data migration support.

  5. Printer support (Toner/Drum/Wastebin replacement) & repair support (call vendor and support technician).

  6. Installing and decommissioning of hardware (laptops, desktops).

  7. Handling all IT waste disposal.

Job Responsibility:

Following activities are part of the job (not limited to):

  1. Working on incidents and tasks in our ticketing system ServiceNow.

  2. Installation of new end-user devices and data migration support.

  3. Inventory & Stock Management.

  4. Remote support co-ordination and assistance of deployment and decommissioning.

  5. Network support (Patching & Debugging).

  6. Printer support (Toner/Drum/Wastebin replacement).

  7. Support for global projects that are getting implemented at the site level.

  8. Support for audio/video equipment in meeting rooms.

  9. Assist VIP support with local problems/topics.

Requirements

  • MBO degree

  • Should have experience in 1st and 2nd line support for at least 2 years.

  • Customer Friendly

  • Dutch and English speaking

  • Experience in supporting Lab- & tool-pc's is a pre
